Honey is a useful sweetener

Honey is a useful sweetener

“Honey is a useful sweetener that has additional benefits such as antimicrobial properties, which means it may help fight bacteria, viruses and fungi. Some people also find it helps with allergic reactions because it contains trace amounts of local pollen. However, this is the case only for raw honey, which has not been heated. In contrast most of the honey available in shops is heated to very high temperatures, so it loses more of its natural goodness. If you’re looking for Raw Honey in the west of Ireland I’d recommend Leahy Beekeeping. The offer raw honey and Beeswax Food Wraps, which are a reusable alternative to plastic wrap and single-use plastic.
